Principle #1 - God is a God of Purpose!
Have you heard the saying, "God does not make junk!"? Well, its true. You see, God does not make anything just for the fun of it. he doesn't create something just to see "how it would look" or "as an alternative option" to something else. No, when God creates, He purposes from the start. He purposed YOU! Isn't this good news?
"Every creator or manufacturer begins with purpose" God declares in Isiah 46.10, "From the beginning I revealed the end. From long ago I told you things that had not yet happened, saying, "My plan will stand, and I'll do everything I intended to do." and in another version, "my PURPOSE will stand". So, we see here that He first establishes his intent (purpose) before beginning the process of production (PRODUCE, CREATE).
Nature is a witness! It is filled with evidence that He determines the purpose for a thing before He creates it. Before the creative act ever takes place, God has in mind the why and the how of what he decides to make. The bottom line is this: God does everything with and for a purpose!
What does this mean for you?
No matter how your life started or how bad it has been, you are not a mistake. God intended for you to live, both physically and spiritually. He would not have allowed you to be born if you were not included in His universal purposes. YOU are necessary. YOU are essential!
Selah Moment:
Let's live our lives on purpose and be intentional about what we do and say. Allow the fact that God does not create for the "fun of it" be a guide for us to soldify our intentions.
