Reflections: It is at the hardest, darkest, and most dire of times that I have had my greatest dreams and highest level of hope. Why is that when things are going "good enough" I quit pushing hard?! There is this saying, "when the pain of being where you are exceeds the pain of changing...then you will change".
Joel Osteen talks about waking up and expecting it to be the best day...I get that. I get that THAT and I get that THAT does not apply to me. What IF I woke up and said this is going to be the hardest day of my life....BUT GOD I am ready. I am ready to fight through the pain and I am ready to grow....to really, really grow. I am ready to push hard, and HARDER.
If anyone understands anything about me, they understand this...I have never ran from a painful or hard situation. If I understand anything about myself and about God....through my faith and obedience to HIM, WE will can walk through it together and I no longer have to fear the hardest, the darkest, the most dire times of my life.
