I look to you



In my moment of sorrow
In my moment of sadness
I look to you for compassion
I know my life will not always be smooth But right now…
I look to you, because I cannot look away

Pain is part of my process
Of growth and learning
And now Lord,
You know I look to you
For comfort and for strength
Because right now…
I CANNOT look away!

I am keeping my eyes upwards
And I lift my problems up to you
And pray that the heaviness on my heart
Is eased and in time I know it will be
Because I look to you Lord

I look to you….
Because I cannot look away

In my heartaches of life
I search my heart and know you’re there
In my tears I feel your love
In my life, I experience your constant guidance

Because YOU are my Lord…
I look to you and cannot look away.

Precious redeemer and deliverer...
