WHAT WILL YOU TELL "YOUR" STORM?

I was listening to "I told the Storm"-Greg O'Quinn and had to google the lyrics. It made me wonder, about my own storms. Here's a snippet from his song that I thought was real deep! I think it apply to all of us in one way or another? What are all of you telling your storms?

Death can't shake me!

I told the Storm of Injuries, Control, and Money,
"Don't attack me, You don't own me, you can't buy me, and devil, don't try me!"

I can't ask God every time, "Why me?" because God will never deny me the Answers, Prayers, and Blessings
to overcome all my transgressions. Storms may come but they also must go! I don't stand still in the midst of a storm neither it's aftermath.

I try to remember to allow the Lord to equip me with Love, Power, and the Ability to Grow as I move through it with confidence; For a brighter day is sure to come.

now....with all that said. Have you ever been in the midst of a storm and felt a serene peace? I am in the middle of the storm right this very moment - and for the life of me - I am not sure where this calm is coming from. I could be out of a job Monday, my car went south - can't afford to get it fixed let alone make the note, my finances are dwindling and yet - I am calm! I've been praying, seeking prayer and all of that stuff - but part of me feels like I should be in panic mode - I know it's the devil trying to plant a negative seed of despair and make me loose hope - but I feel so...okay about it...like a weight has been lifted. I can't put my finger on the weight because I haven't seen any evidence of a breakthrough ---- infact everything is up in the air - I actually don't have a plan B. I just have a plan A and that is to pray really, really hard....

Princess, you have so much strength. I often have many storms, but yet and still, I AM able to find peace. I wake up every morning feeling this strong covering from GOD. I never felt it before and amazed. With that I am able to keep going. I often have or can find Joy out of every situation now. It has not always been that way for me. So I feel exactly how you feel when you say that you have serene peace. Know that you are in my prayers constantly, and from experience the power of prayer is amazing!!! GOD IS AMAZNG.
